Volume II, Issue 11

Welcome to the eleventh edition of the Complete Hosting Guide Change Log Newsletter!

We took a small break for the holidays, but we are now getting ready for an exciting new year.

In our 11th edition of the newsletter we cover plans for a new server, a new forum area and more.

New Forum

As per a user request, we added a new forum specifically for dedicated servers, for situations where you aren't using a hosting control panel and are remotely logging into the server. You can find our new forum area here:

Preparations for a New Server

Now that we are part of the WisTex family of websites, we will be moving our website to a new server. We haven't moved the website yet, but preparations are underway. We expect to move the website with a month or so. This might cause some minor disruptions as the DNS propagates, but other than that, we expect a smooth transition.

Minor Cosmetic Changes

Okay, so Scott is a perfectionist a bit. He's made a bunch of minor cosmetic changes to the website to make it flow a little better. For example, he added some horizontal lines in places to separate content, made the signatures small and grey so the aren't confused with content, and other minor changes. Removed sharing icons on pages which aren't meant to be shared. Mostly things most people wouldn't notice have changed, but still make the site look better.

Expect more minor tweaks. Rumor has it he is going to tackle some of the images next.

Last Newsletter of the Year

Can you believe that 2015 is over already? This is the last newsletter of the volume II, but we have a lot of things planned for next year. 2016 is going to be an exciting year!

Be sure to tell us what you want to see in the Suggestions Forum.
