How to Setup Hotlink Protection in cPanel

Hotlink protection prevents other websites from directly linking to files, such as images, in order to protect copyrighted images from appearing on other websites, or to save on bandwidth usage.

You can whitelist websites that are allowed to direct link to the files, while preventing other websites from doing so.
