How to Log Into cPanel

When your hosting account was setup, your hosting provider or system administrator should have provided you with the address (URL) to your cPanel login page, as well as your username and password.

Typical Location of Login Page

Most web hosts are set up to use the following links (URLs) for their cPanel login page.

Domain is Pointed and Working

If your domain name is already pointed to your hosting account, you typically can access your cPanel at one of the following addresses:

https://example.com/cpanel

Replace example.com with your own domain name or your website's IP address.

If the cpanel shortcut is not setup, you can access cPanel via port 2083.

https://example.com:2083

Domain is Not Pointed Yet

If your domain name is not pointed to your hosting account yet, you will need to use your website's IP address instead of your domain name.

https://192.0.2.42/cpanel

Replace 192.0.2.42 with your own website's IP address.

Try using the port number if the above link does not work.

https://192.0.2.42:2083

Other Options

Some web hosts also allow you to access cPanel via their billing system. Depending on the host, there may be a link inside your billing control panel.

If these do not work, you will need to contact your hosting provider to get the proper link.
